Hey everyone, I'm planning a two-week backpacking trip across Europe this summer and want to focus heavily on amazing plant-based food scenes. I've already heard great things about Berlin and London, but I'm looking for a few other hidden gems or top-tier destinations that are exceptionally easy to navigate as a vegetarian. Which European cities have the most diverse, high-quality veggie and vegan options without breaking the bank? Any specific neighborhood or restaurant recommendations would be hugely appreciated!

Prague has surprised me so much recently. The traditional Czech cuisine is heavy on meat, but the modern vegan scene in Vinohrady is thriving and very budget-friendly.

Valencia is incredible for plant-based Mediterranean food. Plus, you can get world-class paella made with fresh local vegetables for a fraction of what you'd pay in other major hubs.

Bologna is known as the culinary capital of Italy, and while it loves its meat and cheese, traditional pasta like tortelloni and tagli al ragù can easily be found in incredible vegetarian variations if you know where to look.
